When are we going to depart?

What are the signs of going home?

When are we going to depart?

Many people want to know when the End of Time is, when Christ returns , when we are called up into the clouds to be with him. (abbreviated as rapture)

Apostle Paul gave us a strong clue when he wrote to both the Church of Corinth & the Church of Ephesus.

The letter was written during Paul’s second missionary journey, around 50 CE, from Corinth in Achaea (southern Greece), to the Christian community he founded in Thessalonica (northern Greece).

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 we see Apostle Paul comforting & prophesying the early Church on the End Days.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 KJV — For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1 Thessalonians 4:17 KJV — Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 4:18 KJV — Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The Apostle Paul wrote the book of 1 Corinthians. He wrote 1 Corinthians during his third missionary journey, near the end of his three-year ministry in Ephesus.

For this is a mystery as written by Apostle Paul. - take note of this for later.

1 Corinthians 15:51 KJV — Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

1 Corinthians 15:52 KJV — In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

"In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet will sound."

If we look carefully, both times Apostle Paul confirms to both Bodies of Christ about the timing.

"With the Trump of God"
"At the last Trump"

Now we move to the Book of Revelation by Apostle John written on the Island of Patmos.

What are these Trumpets we ask ?

Revelation 8:1 KJV — And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

Revelation 8:2 KJV — And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

Revelation 8:6 KJV — And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

7 The first angel sounded,

8 And the second angel sounded,

10 And the third angel sounded,

12 And the fourth angel sounded,

1 And the fifth angel sounded,

13 And the sixth angel sounded,

Revelation 10:7 KJV — But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

"The mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets"
Referenced in 1 Corinthians 15:51.

"The seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound" is the last trumpet.

Revelation 10:7 points to 1 Corinthians 15:51 & Vice versa.
