During the translation of the Gospel in the 1600's Elijah the Prophet as was referred to in the OT , was also called Elias in the NT.
Elijah = "my God is Jehovah"
Elias = "my God is Jehovah"
A prophet born at Thisbe, the unflinching champion of the theocracy in the reigns of the idolatrous kings Ahab and Ahaziah.
(Theocracy = a system of government in which priests rule in the name of God or a god.)
He was taken up to heaven without dying, whence the Jews expected he would return just before the advent of the Messiah, whom he would prepare the minds of the Israelites to receive.

Matthew 17:13 KJV — Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.
The Spirit of Elijah paved the way for Yeshua.
The Bible yet again shows it is the World's first historically tested & proven document "hyperlinked" across multiple centuries with 4 different authors.
(Approximately 560 years)
2 Kings = 560 - 540 BC by Jeremiah
Malachi = 430 BC by Malachi
John = 90 - 100 CE by John " the disciple whom Jesus loved"
Matthew = 85 - 95 CE by Matthew the Apostle ( tax collector)
But most importantly Jesus Christ is the Messiah who came as a lamb to atone for our Sins.
During this Passover & Resurrection Sunday may we acknowledge our love & continuous walk in Faith towards the most high YHWH - Our Father, through his only begotten Son Yeshua 🙏♥️
