At Jacobs Well, Jesus Christ offered the Woman of Samaria to drink of living water.
(John 4:5-42)
[John 4:10 KJV] Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
Only the Shepard can water his flock.
His flock depends on him for the Water of Life.
The Water of Life is the Word.
The Word is Jesus Christ.

We were discussing living water yesterday, or at least I was thinking about it. Often times, I’m waiting with excitement to sit down and study His word; I find myself completely absorbed in the scriptures, reflecting upon them as I go. Just as water quenches our physical thirst, His word, the Word, satisfies our spirit. Its wonderful to be the recipients of such refreshment and to share with others those insights we have received.
