Abba, Father, we lift up all who are suffering from illness and disease and who struggle chronic pain. Have Mercy on them Abba, and help them to receive Your gift of Endurance, that You may be glorified. Help them to see the purpose of their suffering and join it with the suffering of our Lord and Saviour, Christ Jesus.
